The MEP packages for the shafts and headhouses, as part of HS2’s tunnelling programme have been awarded to 3 key MEP contracting companies who will be delivering the fit out until 2029.
The main bases of operation are around Ruislip, Denham & Aylesbury, although Brackley may be used as the project progresses.
We need several experienced MEP Project Engineers, mainly to join in the pre-construction phases of work, but in some circumstances to take over projects that are into the construction phase.
Options to stay on pre-con are open, but of particular interest will be engineers with experience through the whole project life cycle, who will be able to oversee the commissioning and handover periods from 2028 – 2029.
Ideally the MEP Project Engineers will have a background in MEP infrastructure projects (rail, aviation, water etc) but we will also consider strong building services engineers who want to work in a rail environment and develop their skills on a complex engineering delivery programme.
