A leading main contractor is currently seeking an experienced MEP Night Manager to join a major data centre project in West London on a contract basis. This is a key night-shift role supporting the successful delivery of complex MEP works on a high-profile, technically demanding scheme.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all MEP works during night shifts
- Supervise MEP subcontractors to ensure productivity, quality and compliance
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health & safety regulations and site procedures
- Monitor progress against programme and report issues or delays to senior site management
- Coordinate inspections, testing and commissioning activities as required
- Maintain accurate night reports, handover notes and records for the day team
- Resolve site issues proactively to minimise disruption to ongoing works
Requirements
- Proven experience as an MEP Manager or MEP Night Manager on large-scale projects
- Previous experience working on data centre or similarly complex, critical environments is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building services
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during night operations
- Relevant CSCS card (SMSTS preferred)
