MEP Design Manager – Tier One Main Contractor\\n \\nLife Sciences Project – Central London\\n \\n£400–£450 per day\\n \\nImmediate Start\\n\\nA leading Tier One Main Contractor is seeking an experienced MEP Design Manager to join a flagship Life Sciences project in Central London. This technically challenging scheme involves delivering a state-of-the-art laboratory and research facility, with a strong emphasis on innovation, compliance, and coordination.\\n\\nYour Role\\n\\nAs MEP Design Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the mechanical, electrical, and public health (MEP) design elements through to delivery. You’ll be working closely with architects, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure design intent, compliance, and programme alignment.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nLead MEP design coordination across all disciplines and stakeholders\\nManage design workshops, technical submissions, and design reviews\\nEnsure MEP design is aligned with programme, cost plan, and client brief\\nLiaise with consultants and subcontractors to resolve technical issues\\nMonitor design risks, compliance with Building Regulations, and change control\\nWork closely with the site and project delivery teams during construction phase\\nMaintain documentation and design tracker to support project reportingAbout You\\n\\nProven experience as an MEP Design Manager on complex, technical projects\\nPrevious experience with a Tier One Main Contractor or top-tier MEP specialist\\nFamiliarity with Life Sciences, Laboratories, Clean Rooms, or R&D environments is strongly preferred\\nExcellent knowledge of UK building regulations and compliance standards\\nStrong communication, coordination, and leadership skills\\nDegree or equivalent in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering \\nIf you’re interested in this position, please reach out to Matt Dade – (url removed)
