A leading Main Contractor is seeking an experienced M&E Manager to join the team on a prestigious heritage project in Central London. This role offers the chance to deliver a complex and high-profile scheme, where modern engineering will be carefully integrated with historic preservation.
The Role
The M&E Manager will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical and electrical packages from pre-construction through to handover. Working closely with project teams, subcontractors, and consultants, they will ensure that all installations are delivered safely on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage M&E design coordination and installation works.
Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with specifications.
Provide technical expertise and problem-solving support throughout the project.
Monitor progress, quality, and costs across all M&E elements.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and site teams to maintain clear communication.
Uphold health, safety, and environmental standards across the project.Candidate Requirements
Proven experience as an M&E Manager (or similar role) with a Main Contractor or M&E Subcontractor.
Strong technical knowledge of building services systems.
Previous experience on heritage or complex refurbishment projects is highly desirable.

Ability to lead M&E packages from inception to completion.
