Electrical Construction Managers (2x Positions) Central London (Located by major station) Major Commercial Project A leading Tier 1 contractor is currently seeking 2 experienced Electrical Construction Managers to join a flagship large-scale commercial development in London. Due to recent workload pressures and team restructuring, there is an immediate requirement to strengthen site leadership and support successful project delivery through to completion. This is a live, high-value MEP package (approx. £42m) with approximately 13 months remaining, followed by a CAT B fit-out phase. The role sits within a Tier 1 main contractor environment and reports directly into an experienced MEP Project Manager with an electrical bias. Key Responsibilities • Lead and coordinate teams of electricians across designated areas (basements, floors, or roof zones) • Oversee day-to-day electrical installation works ensuring programme adherence • Support sequencing, logistics, and delivery planning in line with project milestones • Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, and internal project teams • Ensure quality assurance, safety compliance, and technical standards are maintained • Drive progress reporting and contribute to short- and long-term planning Candidate Requirements • Proven experience on large-scale commercial construction projects • Strong background working within Tier 1 contractor environments • Solid understanding of construction programmes and site delivery sequencing • Confident communicator with the ability to engage with clients and consultants • Experience managing electrical teams and subcontractor labour • Collaborative, committed, and motivated to see a major project through to completion Personal Attributes • Team-focused and reliable under pressure • Enthusiastic and committed to delivering high-profile projects • Strong leadership presence with a hands-on approach • Able to thrive in a fast-paced delivery environment Package This role is available on either: • PAYE basis, including 25 days annual leave, private healthcare, pension, and life assurance OR • Freelance basis, with a competitive day rate (to be discussed depending on experience) Additional Information • Immediate requirement due to urgent site needs • Strong opportunity to join a major London project at a critical delivery stage • Long-term work through to completion and subsequent fit-out phase This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Electrical Construction Managers looking to take a key role in the delivery of a major commercial scheme
