We are currently recruiting for an industry-leading contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality interior fit-out and modular system solutions across London and the Southeast. We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Designer to join our client’s dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings and designs using BIM, Revit and AutoCAD solutions. You will work closely with clients, architects, project managers, and site teams to ensure designs meet specifications and industry standards.
Your principal roles and responsibilities will include:
- Create and develop detailed design drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and site teams to ensure design feasibility and compliance.
- Provide technical support and design solutions for drywall systems, lightweight steel framing, suspended ceilings, and screeding applications.
- Interpret architectural and structural drawings to create efficient design plans.
- Work closely with the project delivery team to ensure accurate and timely design submissions.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, regulations, and materials to enhance design efficiency and quality.
- Attend site visits and client meetings as required to discuss design specifications and project requirements.
Job requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar design role within the dry lining, fit-out, or construction industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
- Strong understanding of drywall systems, steel framing, and interior fit-out principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of UK building regulations and industry standards.
