Health and Safety Manager (Part-Time – 3 Days per Week) Location: Farringdon, London (with travel to multiple project sites) Sector: Building Services / MEP Salary: Negotiable, open to paying PAYE, CIS or Ltd Employment Type: Part-Time (3 days per week) Overview We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join a well-established and growing MEP contractor based in Farringdon, London. This is a fantastic part-time opportunity for a proactive Health and Safety professional who enjoys working across both office and site environments. The role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to make a genuine impact on company-wide safety standards. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and review Health & Safety policies and procedures in line with UK legislation. Conduct site inspections and audits, ensuring compliance across multiple projects. Support project teams with risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work. Deliver Health & Safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions. Investigate and report on incidents and near misses, implementing corrective actions. Advise management on best practice and legislative updates. Promote a positive Health & Safety culture across all levels of the business.About You NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum requirement); further qualifications such as Diploma or IOSH/CMIOSH desirable. Proven experience in a Health & Safety role within MEP, construction, or engineering sectors. Strong understanding of CDM Regulations and UK Health & Safety legislation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage. Self-motivated, well-organised, and comfortable managing multiple sites.What’s on Offer Competitive pro rata salary plus travel expenses.
