We are currently recruiting for a Construction Support Manager / Construction Supervisor (Track) to support a rail infrastructure programme, delivering track works across both ballast and embedded track. This is a contract position with an initial duration of 6 months, with a strong likelihood of extension. The indicative determination is Outside IR35, and the flat rate on offer is around Β£280βΒ£300 per shift (days, nights and weekends).
It is essential that you have strong technical knowledge of track replacement / track renewals; otherwise, we cannot consider you for this position.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide construction management and delivery support across rail assets
- Coordinate construction activities between project teams, contractors and operational stakeholders
- Support the planning, sequencing and delivery of track and associated works
- Monitor construction progress, programme, quality and compliance
- Identify and resolve construction issues, risks and interfaces
- Ensure works are delivered safely and in accordance with relevant standards, specifications and project requirements
- Support construction methodologies, access planning and possessions
- Liaise with contractors and delivery teams to ensure effective coordination of works
About you:
- Proven experience in a construction management / support role within the rail sector
- Strong technical knowledge and practical experience of track replacement / track renewals
- Experience working on TfL / London Underground assets would be highly advantageous
- Good understanding of rail construction methodologies, possessions, access and operational interfaces
- Relevant rail / construction qualifications and competencies
