This senior role plays a key part across the full project lifecycle, from early engagement and tender stages through to design development, delivery support and post‑completion resolution of engineering matters. The Engineering Lead position is designed to flex in line with business and project requirements.

This is a non‑operational role, focused on providing technical leadership rather than day‑to‑day site delivery.
The Engineering Lead will oversee the engineering development of building services packages from tender through to commissioning, ensuring quality, coordination and buildability at every stage.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate closely with the Design Lead to ensure value engineering decisions across all disciplines are fully coordinated and technically robust.

- Review, assess and challenge tender documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy and buildability.
- Engage with designers, consultants and supply chain partners to support PCSA and pre‑construction activities.
- Manage technical interfaces between engineering, design and operational teams to ensure fully coordinated solutions.
- Act as the technical representative with clients, promoting a solutions‑focused and engineering‑led approach.
- Contribute to tender briefings and presentations, offering innovative technical advice.
- Represent the business as a technical ambassador within the wider industry, including attendance at relevant events.
- Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Strong background in engineering design and/or technical delivery within major construction projects.
- Sound understanding of project management principles and design coordination.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently at senior stakeholder level.
- Experience across a range of building services systems and construction methodologies.
