An established and highly regarded Tier 1 MEP Contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to join the delivery team on a flagship Data Centre development in Buckinghamshire. This is a long-term opportunity on a technically complex, high-value mission critical project, offering excellent stability, career progression, and the chance to work alongside one of the industry’s leading delivery teams.

The Opportunity

You’ll be joining a contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering large-scale MEP projects across the UK and Europe within sectors including:

Known for delivering technically demanding schemes and high-value MEP packages, the business provides fully integrated building services solutions from design through to commissioning and handover. The Role

As Electrical Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day electrical delivery on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, consultants and client teams to drive progress across a fast-paced mission critical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing electrical installation activities across the project
  • Coordinating subcontractors, labour and specialist electrical packages
  • Overseeing LV systems, containment, cabling, lighting and associated electrical installations
  • Driving programme, sequencing and short-term planning
  • Monitoring installation quality and technical compliance
  • Managing site reporting, technical queries and coordination issues
  • Working closely with Project Managers, consultants and client teams
  • Ensuring HSE procedures and site standards are maintained
  • Supporting commissioning, snagging and final handover
  • Coordinating with other trades to ensure smooth project delivery

What They’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager on major construction projects
  • Strong electrical building services background
  • Previous Data Centre or mission critical experience highly desirable
  • Experience delivering large-scale MEP installations
  • Good technical understanding of electrical building services systems
  • Strong leadership and coordination skills
  • Ability to work within fast-paced project environments
  • SMSTS and CSCS essential
