A bit about the role:
As a Construction Planner, you'll support projects from the very early stages (RIBA Stage 0) all the way through to handover to the operations team (RIBA Stage 7). You'll generally be working across several projects simultaneously, each at different stages of development or delivery. All of this will take place in live and operational environments — even the smaller projects will be challenging!
To be successful in this position, it's likely you will:
- Be educated to degree or postgraduate level in a construction or civil engineering subject
- Have experience working as a Planner or Planning Engineer on civil projects valued at over £10m
- Be proficient in both Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Excel
- Have an understanding of NEC contracts
- Be an effective communicator, comfortable dealing with a variety of stakeholders
