MEP Commissioning Manager – Major International Project (Athens, Greece)
Location: Athens, Greece (site-based)
Duration: 24-month contract
Rate/Salary: £650 per day Ltd or CIS OR £100,000 salary + package
Rotation: 2 weeks on-site, weekends off. Flights home every other weekend. There is also the option to fully relocate if preferred, rather than working on a rotation basis.

I’m currently representing a leading MEP specialist delivering a flagship mixed-use development in Athens, Greece, and I’m looking to speak with experienced MEP Commissioning Managers interested in a high-profile, long-term opportunity.
This is a key role on a £70m MEP package, working on a large-scale residential and commercial scheme that is now entering the final installation, flushing, testing, and commissioning phases.
The Opportunity
You’ll take ownership of the commissioning strategy and delivery across all MEP systems, ensuring a structured, compliant, and high-quality handover. This is a chance to step into a technically complex project with strong backing and clear progression onto future phases. There is also a clear pathway to transition onto the main project from August 2027, offering long-term continuity for the right individual.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage full MEP commissioning activities
- Develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules
- Coordinate with construction, design, and client teams
- Oversee flushing, pressure testing, and system validation
- Manage subcontractors and specialist commissioning teams
- Ensure all systems are delivered in line with project specifications and industry standards
- Drive quality assurance and snagging close-out
Requirements
- Proven experience as an MEP Commissioning Manager on large-scale projects
- Strong background across mechanical, electrical, and public health systems
- Experience delivering commissioning on complex residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments
- Ability to work in an international environment and manage multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
