I’m currently supporting a well-established M&E contractor with the appointment of an experienced SHEQ & Compliance Manager. This is a key role for someone who wants to genuinely influence safety, quality and compliance standards within a reputable and growing business.
Location: Office-based in the Bury St Edmunds area, with travel to sites across Suffolk, East Anglia and North London.
Contract Type: Full-time, permanent
The Role: You will take responsibility for supporting and maintaining the company’s Safety, Health, Environment and Quality framework. Working closely with project teams and senior management, you’ll help strengthen processes, support compliance, and promote a positive SHEQ culture throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementing and supporting SHEQ policies and procedures
- Assisting with ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 accreditation processes
- Conducting site inspections, audits and risk assessments
- Supporting incident investigations and reporting
- Providing SHEQ training, guidance and support to staff
- Maintaining accurate compliance documentation
- Driving continual improvements across safety and quality performance
