An exceptional opportunity has arisen with a leading EPC contractor delivering some of the Middle East's most significant digital infrastructure projects. We are seeking an experienced Project Director – Delivery to lead the successful execution of hyperscale and large-scale colocation data centre developments across Qatar and the wider MENA region. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of complex mission-critical projects, ensuring safety, quality, programme, commercial performance, and client satisfaction from project award through to commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership and accountability for the successful delivery of large-scale data centre projects
- Manage multidisciplinary project teams across construction, engineering, commercial, planning, procurement, commissioning, and HSE functions
- Lead project execution strategies to ensure delivery against programme, budget, quality, and client expectations
- Oversee project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and delivery performance
- Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, OEMs, utility providers, and authorities to ensure seamless project delivery
- Drive construction excellence, safety performance, and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead commercial management activities including change control, contract administration, claims management, and cost control
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to mitigate schedule and delivery risks
- Oversee commissioning, testing, integrated systems validation, and final handover activities
- Support business growth through client engagement, project pursuits, and strategic delivery initiatives
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline
- 15+ years of experience delivering large-scale construction, mission-critical, or data centre projects
- Proven track record leading the delivery of hyperscale data centres, major infrastructure projects, or complex EPC developments
- Strong understanding of project execution, construction methodologies, commercial management, and stakeholder engagement
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and multiple project workstreams
- Demonstrated success in delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget
- Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
- Middle East experience preferred
- Experience working with hyperscale clients including AWS, Microsoft, Google, Meta, Oracle, or major colocation operators is highly advantageous
