FoodQualityDevelopmentManager-Whatyou'llbedoing:
- WorkingwithUKprivatelabelcustomers’technicalandqualitymanagement,manufacturingsites,dedicatedcommercialteamsandEuropeanqualityteamstomaintainexistingprivatelabelbusinessandprogressnewopportunitiesfromdevelopmenttolaunch.
- Leadingcustomerqualityreviewmeetings,technicalcomplianceauditsandfirstproductionvisitsofsitestothestandardandpracticesrequiredaswellasinfluencingkeystakeholderstoachievedecisionsandactionsrequiredtodelivercustomerrequirements.
- Managingprojectswithineachcustomer’sprocess,criticalpathensuringalltechnicalrequirementsaremet.
- Keycustomercontactforallqualitytopics,policycompliance,development,renovation,packagingandproductcommunication.
- EffectivecommunicationandreportingonqualityKPI’s,complaintmanagement,developmentprojects,productspecifications,andpolicychanges.
- Continuallymonitoringthequalityandconsistencyofproductstoensureproductqualitystandardsaremaintained.
FoodQualityDevelopmentManager-TheSkillsYou'llNeedtoSucceed:
- Educatedtodegreelevelorequivalent,withafoodscience/technologybackground.
- PreviousexperienceinaQuality/DevelopmentManagementrole,preferablyintheUKwithexpertiseofmanagingprivatelabelcustomerrequirements(UKretailers).
- Excellentattentiontodetailandanalyticalskills
- Strongorganisationalandprojectmanagementskills
- ITliteracytoahighstandardespeciallyExcel
- Well-developedcommunicationandinfluencingskills.
- Flexibleandcreativeproblem-solvingskillstoovercomeobstacles.
- Highlyself-motivatedandresultsfocused,withtheabilitytoworkautonomously,aswellasworkingcloselywiththeQuality,Industrial,R&DandCommercialteamsinthewiderbusiness.
- FluentinFrenchwouldbeaplus.
- Fullcurrentdrivinglicenceisessential.ThepositionwillrequiretheflexibilitytotravelintheUKaswellastravellingregularlytoFrance,asbusinessneedsdictate,soapplicantsmustbepreparedtospendtimeawayfromhomeinaccordancewiththerequirementsofthejob.
