TreasurySettlementOfficer-Summary:
- ThisroleisresponsiblefordailypreparationandjournalbookingoftreasuryfunctionforTreasuryinFinancedepartment.
- Toworkalongside/inconjunctionwithotherteammembersandreportingtotheTreasuryTeamLeadertodeveloptheTreasuryTeamwithinFinanceDepartmentandtoensurealltreasurydutiesareperformedinatimely,accurateandsafemanner.
TreasurySettlementOfficer-WhatYou'llbeDoing:
- Dailybankreconciliation&SAPbookingofallpayments,receivables,loans,discountingandanyothercashmovementsindependentlybasedonpropersupportingdocuments;
- ProduceallcompanypaymentdocumentsandbanknoticesinSAP;
- Paymentcheckprocedure:makesurecompliantSSIrecords,correctbankdetails,noduplicatepayments;
- RecorddailyFXtransactionandupdateFXsheetandproducepaymentdocumentsaccordingly
- RecorddailyMargincallmovement,producepaymentdocumentsaccordingly;
- Monitorinwards/outwardspayment/Receiptwithbanks,makesuredailyclosingbalanceisinlinewithrequiredpolicy;
- Monthlybankstatementandcheckmonth-endSAPcashbalanceagreedtobankstatement.Iferror,needtoinvestigateandreportvariancestolinemanager
- Conductadhocmonthlytreasuryanalysis;
- Performother/ad-hocrelateddutiesasreasonablyassigned;
- Back-upforroleofTreasuryOfficer:
Quarterly SOX testing;
Daily HQ bank loan report;
Daily HQ margin call report;
Monthly HQ margin call report;
Bank account HQ opening request & closing request;
TMS application;
Handle payment issues with bank and counterparties and internal departments queries;
Other Receivable Procedure to follow up on non-receipt of freight and other receivable;

- SpokenandwrittenMandarintonativelevel,andfluentEnglish;
- Degreeleveleducationorequivalentlevelqualification;
- Accountingprofessionqualificationdesirable–e.g.ACCAorACA,CIMA;
- FamiliarwithSAPaccountingsystems(Trainingwillbeprovided)andMicrosoftpackages;
- Excellentcommunicationskillsbothwrittenandverbal;
- Abilitytoworkindependentlyandunderpressureattimes;
- Mustbegoodteamplayerandhaveeyesondetails.
