Financial Accountant (Permanent, Temporary) in London

The Skills You'll Need: ACA, ACCA, CPA Your New Salary: Up to £47 per hour Agency temp (PAYE) 9 months temporary Hybrid Prepare statutory financial statements for UK legal entities in accordance with FRS 102 and relevant UK statutory reporting requirements. Lead the year-end statutory audit process, acting as the primary finance counterpart to external auditors. Proactively manage audit activities, provide well-supported technical accounting positions, and engage in constructive discussions with auditors to resolve complex accounting and reporting matters. Maintain and govern SAP ERP finance master data, ensuring strong internal controls, data integrity, and compliance with corporate governance standards. Perform financial analysis of company balance sheet and profit & loss statements, identifying key trends, explaining business performance, and providing insights to support management decision-making. Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) with strong technical accounting knowledge. Significant experience in financial accounting within a multinational environment, including preparation of statutory financial statements under FRS 102. Proven experience managing external audits, with the confidence to discuss technical accounting matters with auditors. Hands-on experience with SAP ERP. Experience in finance master data governance is an advantage. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial results and provide meaningful insights.
