Japanese speaking International Moving & Commercial Freight Operations – What You'll be Doing:
- International Household Moving Services
- Coordinate and manage household relocations for individuals and families moving overseas or returning to Japan.
- Communicate with clients (mostly Japanese-speaking) to understand their needs and provide support throughout the moving process.
- Prepare shipping documents, arrange packing/unpacking services, and coordinate with overseas agents and logistics partners.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and shipping requirements in both the UK and destination countries.
- Import/Export of Commercial Freight
- Handle commercial cargo shipments for corporate clients, including export and import processes.
- Prepare necessary documentation such as invoices, packing lists, customs forms, and shipping labels.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, airlines, customs brokers, and warehouses.
- Track shipments and provide regular updates to clients.
- General Support Duties
- Data entry, inventory control, and file management.
- Occasional on-site work at warehouses or customer locations.
- Occasional travel to the Newcastle area or other regions in Northern UK (business trip-based, subject to discussion).
