Tax Manager – Japanese Expatriate Individual Tax (Hybrid)– What You\’ll be Doing:

  • Provide comprehensive UK individual tax services to Japanese expatriate clients
  • Prepare and review UK Self Assessment Tax Returns
  • Advise on double taxation and foreign tax credit issues between Japan and the UK
  • Liaise with clients in both English and Japanese
  • Manage and develop junior staff
  • Communicate with HMRC regarding tax queries and amendments

Tax Manager – Japanese Expatriate Individual Tax (Hybrid)– The Skills You\’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Experience in a tax-related role at an accounting firm in Japan or the UK
  • Knowledge of international individual tax (especially UK/Japan)
  • Business level English and native-level (or equivalent) Japanese
  • Team management experience is a plus
  • Qualifications such as ATT, CTA, ACCA or ACA welcome but not essential
