TheRole

ReportingtotheCEO/ManagingDirector,theHeadofLogistics&Fulfilmentwillleadthecompany'send-to-endwarehousing,fulfilmentandoutboundlogisticsoperations.

Thisisahands-onleadershiprole,workingcloselywithSupplyChain,DemandPlanning,FinanceandCustomerServicetoensureordersaredeliveredaccurately,ontime,andcost-effectively.

Operations&Fulfilment

• Overseethreein-housefulfilmentsitesand3PLrelationshipsensuringhighstandardsofaccuracy,productivityandcustomerservice.
• EstablishandmanageKPIsincludingOTIF,orderaccuracy,throughput,cycletimeandcostperorder.
• Overseegoodsreceipt,inventorycontrol,qualitycontrol,picking,packinganddispatchactivities.
• Planlabourandwarehousecapacitytomeetforecastdemand,seasonalpeaksandpromotionalactivity.
• Standardiseprocesses,SOPsandqualitystandardsacrossalllocations.
• Manageoperationalbudgets,headcountandconsumablespendwhileidentifyingcost-savingopportunities.
• Ensurecompliancewithhealth&safety,employmentlegislationandproduct-handlingrequirements.

3PL&LogisticsManagement

• OwnSLAperformance,costcontrol,inventoryreportingandcontinuousimprovementinitiatives.
• Evaluatemarketoptionsandleadfuture3PLtenders,transitionsorexpansionswhererequired.
• Overseecarrier,courierandfreightrelationships.
• Negotiatecontractsandoptimiseshippingcostswithoutcompromisingservicelevels.
• Analyselogisticsperformance,identifyinefficienciesanddrivepackagingandshippingimprovements.
• Managereturnsprocessestomaximiseefficiencyandstockrecovery.

Systems,Projects&ContinuousImprovement

• UseERPandWMSdatatodriveoperationaldecisionsandperformance.
• LeadWMSandlogisticstechnologyimprovementstoenhancevisibility,controlandefficiency.
• Deliverautomation,processimprovementandcost-reductioninitiatives.
• Fosteracultureofcontinuousimprovementthroughperformancereviewsandroot-causeanalysis.
• Developcontingencyandbusinesscontinuityplanscoveringoperational,ITandcarrierdisruptions.

• Provideaccuratelogisticsforecastingandreporting.
• Lead,coachanddevelopSiteManagersandtheirteamsacrossmultiplelocations.
• Buildacultureofaccountability,safety,engagementandhighperformance.
• PartnerwithHRonrecruitment,developmentandretentionstrategies.

Skills&ExperienceRequired

• Extensivelogistics,warehousingorfulfilmentmanagementexperiencewithine-commerce,retail,FMCGorCPGsectors.
• Provensuccessmanagingmulti-sitewarehouseandfulfilmentoperations,ideallyacrossmultiplecountries.
• Strongexperiencemanaging3PLproviders,includingSLAmanagement,contractnegotiationandperformanceimprovement.
• Expertiseincarrierandfreightnegotiationsacrossdomesticandinternationalmarkets.
• Trackrecordofdeliveringmeasurableserviceimprovementsandcostreductionsinhigh-volumeD2Cenvironments.
• Strongcommercial,financialandanalyticalskills.
• ExperiencewithERPandWMSplatforms
• Excellentleadership,communicationandstakeholdermanagementskills.
