Global IT company is looking for an IT Pre-Sales Consultant.
IT Pre-Sales Consultant Responsibilities
- Pre-Sales Engagement: Supports sales teams in identifying and qualifying opportunities. Prepares and delivers presentations, proposals, and solution overviews to prospective clients. Acts as a trusted advisor during pre-sales discussions, ensuring alignment with regulatory and business requirements.
- Consultation & Productisation: Leads initiatives to develop and standardise consultation offerings based on frameworks such as Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, and similar. Translates customer needs and compliance obligations into actionable service packages and product features. Collaborates with technical and commercial teams to ensure feasibility and competitiveness.
- Product Management Support: Assists in defining product roadmaps and service enhancements based on market trends and client feedback. Monitors performance of consultation services and recommends improvements. Contributes to pricing strategies and value propositions.
- Customer Interaction: Engages with clients to gather requirements, analyse challenges, and propose compliant solutions. Maintains clear and professional communication throughout the pre-sales cycle.
- Internal Collaboration: Works closely with sales, technical, and delivery teams to ensure seamless handover from pre-sales to implementation. Provides input for marketing materials and knowledge-sharing sessions.
IT Pre-Sales Consultant Requirements
- Solid understanding of security and compliance frameworks (e.g., Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001).
- Ability to create clear, concise documentation and proposals.
- Pre-sales, product management, or IT consultation (junior role acceptable).
- Familiarity with IT security standards and enterprise solutions is an advantage.
- Preferred Certifications: Project Management (PMP or PRINCE2 - Foundation or Practitioner level) or equivalent. Security (CISSP or equivalent). Microsoft Power Platform related certifications or equivalent.
- Proficiency in MS Office and presentation tools.
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking, listening).
- Strong sense of responsibility, work ethics, and reliable attendance.
