What You'll be Doing:
- Provide comprehensive support to achieve departmental objectives
- Manage mortgage applications throughout the entire lifecycle, from enquiry to completion
- Support clients and other RMs with mortgage enquiries and lending solutions
- Liaise with internal departments and external parties, including solicitors, valuers and brokers, to facilitate mortgage applications
- Assist in the development and enhancement of mortgage products, policies, procedures and systems
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and customer experience
- Cooperate with other front office teams to generate business leads and create synergy
- Assist in planning and supporting client events and marketing activities where appropriate
- Other duties assigned by the Head of Department
The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor's degree or above, ideally with a finance-related educational background
- Solid relevant experience in the UK mortgage industry or Private Banking
- Good knowledge of UK Buy-to-Let and residential mortgage products and operations
- Hands-on experience in mortgage case management would be highly desirable
- CeMAP qualification preferred
- Professional qualifications such as CFA, CAIA or FRM would be an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in both English and Mandarin, both written and spoken
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Team player with ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
