Responsibilities:
- Prepare management accounts, journal entries input, bank reconciliation and consolidation package.
- Liaise with external auditor and tax advisor to prepare statutory accounts and tax return.
- Oversee payments and invoicing procedure.
- Assist in internal control assessment and improvement.
- Prepare annual budget and update forecast on a regular basis.
- Analyse the variance between budget, actual result and forecast, monitor budget achievement progress.
- Support business team in asset management and project development.
- Prepare board meeting materials, documents filing and other corporate related administrative matters.
- Assist in general administrative duties for team members as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Japanese to mother tongue standard with English fluent.
- Demonstrable knowledge of accounting treatments (UK GAAP and IFRS).
- Demonstrable experience of Statutory Account preparation, VAT return, and statutory reports.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Experience and applied knowledge working with a wide range of accounting functions at management level.
- Proven ability in Management & Financial Accounting.
- Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and meet tight deadlines whilst managing conflicting priorities.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Taking responsibility for solving problems.
- Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment.
