AboutTheRole:
FinancialManagementdepartmentisinchargeofplanning,organizing,directingandcontrollingthefinancialactivitiesofthebank.Thedepartmentperformsavarietyoffinancialfunctions,includingaccountingandfinancialreporting,fixedassetsandexpensesmanagement,budgetandmanagementreporting,taxation(indirectanddirect),regulatoryreportingandtreasury(assetandliabilitymanagement).AsaManagementReportingAnalyst-MandarinSpeaking,youwillberesponsibleforthepreparationandsubmissionofvariousManagementInformation(MI)reportstoFinancialManagementdepartment,otherdepartmentsintheBank,theManagementTeamandtheBoardfortheBank’sLondonBranchandUKsubsidiary.Youwillplayanimportantroleinprovidingaccurateandsoundmanagementreportingtoassistwithkeydecisionmaking.Thisisafulltimepermanentposition.
ManagementReportingAnalyst-WhatYou'llbeDoing:
- EnsureaccuratereportstoHeadOffice,includingmonthlyfinancialanalysisreportsandexpensereports,andresolvefollow-upqueries
- Preparevariousinternalfinancialanalysisreports,includingdailyvariancedashboard,profit-by-clientanalysis,swapanalysis,NetInterestIncome(NII)/NetInterestMargin(NIM)analysisbydepartment,anddepartmentalexpenseanalysisreportforSeniorManagement
- Supportwithincome/profitforecastingandbudgetingtasks
- PrepareandmanageAOC(AdvisoryandOversightCommittee)reports,ensuringcomplianceandaccuracyforauditpurposes
- Ensurecontinuousimprovementofprocessesandcontrolsthroughcriticalassessmentofexistingworkflowsandeffectiveimplementationofproceduralchanges
- BuildeffectiveworkingrelationshipswiththewiderBankaswellaswithintheteam,includingmentoringjuniorstaffmembers
- SupportwithManagementInformation(MI)automationprojectstosupportdecision-makingthroughfinancialanalysisandinsights
- Supportthedepartmenttoimprovepoliciesandprocedures
