- have experience in supporting Relationship Management team on credit report
What You'll be Doing:
- Working in the Front Office team to assist RMs to perform fundamental credit risk analysis and assigning internal credit ratings during the whole process of loan transaction execution.
- Participating in client due diligence visits and meetings as needed to assist Front Office RMs to complete onboarding process.
- Assessing proposed transactions within the context of the transaction structure to ensure structural risks are properly identified and adequately mitigated.
- Preparing and presenting credit analysis and assessment in an impactful manner and fully communicate with RMs as well as providing recommendations from credit risk perspective in terms of facility elements such as size, structure, tenor etc.
- Supporting RMs to perform internal rating trial test and credit rating proposal by utilizing the Bank’s credit management system and template.
- Maintaining and monitoring accurate exposure and client information in internal risk systems.
- Develop and implement Front Office post-loan risk management framework.
- Monitoring market, regulatory, macro-economic and political development relating to the loan portfolio; assessing their impacts on credit quality and carry out portfolio monitoring and responsible for regular post-loan risk management report from credit risk perspective to identify asset deteriorating signals in line with the Bank’s internal policy.
- Working together with RMs and other relevant departments to ensure identified risks are adequately addressed and setting credit terms in the legal documentation and assist the negotiation process.
- Liaising with Risk Department and other relevant departments for the end to end credit risk management process.
- Performing general problem solving for issues arising across the Bank in relation to credit risks of the loan portfolio.
- Assist the Department Head on other ad-hoc tasks.
The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:
- 5+ years’ experience of credit assessment and a broad knowledge of credit risk in banking industry
- Well-developed judgment and strong analytical skills in the field of credit risk management and analysis.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills and data management skills
- Quick learner to adapt to new environment.
