To be successful in this role our client has said it is essential that candidates:

  • have Mandarin both written and verbal to a native level
  • have Experience in Customer Services, Sales & Marketing, Accounting or Banking

What You'll be Doing:

  • Request and obtain Source of Fund (SoF), Source of Wealth (SOW) from customers where appropriate
  • Maintain an awareness and have comprehensive understanding of the internal 'Compliance’ Policy and Procedure and awareness of all other associated Compliance policies and procedures, and keep up to date with any changes made.
  • Unpaid cheques handling
  • Inward Remittance handling
  • Remittance Enquiry
  • Acts as cover for any other staff members include all areas of the department
  • Provide clerical support duties, such as filing, data input, and ad hoc projects and all operational tasks
  • Adhere to the Bank and Banking Department’s Code of Conduct and comply with Banking Department and the Bank’s policies and procedures manual at all times
  • Assisting the preparation of business, statistical, anti-money laundering, Internal Audit Requirement/Compliance Requirements reports
  • Any other duties assigned by the Head/Deputy Head of Banking Department, or a team leader/ supervisor

The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Degree educated (preferably in Finance, Economics or Marketing)
  • Experience in Customer Services, Sales & Marketing, Accounting or Banking
  • Banking Operations
  • Retail Banking Financial Products and Services
  • Regulatory, legislative requirements and industry practice for the financial crime disciplines, including Fraud, Sanctions, and other related areas
  • Marketing/Sales skills
  • Good English and Chinese written / verbal communication
  • Email writing skills
  • Good skills in time management
  • Good interpersonal skills with attention to details
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrable track record in driving operational efficiency
  • Able to multi-task
