Responsibilities of the Mandarin Speaking Associate:
- Participate in business marketing activities with clients in the Natural Resources sector, including cross-selling products such as loans, deposits, trade finance, cash management, FX & Derivatives, bond issuance, and RMB business.
- Coordinate with the Bank and Group to provide high-quality products and services.
- Prepare business proposals, credit analyses, and financial models; follow the approval process.
- Collaborate with legal teams to complete documentation.
- Manage the credit portfolio post-lending.
- Support client relationship development and departmental operations.
- Produce statistics and analysis, review credit lines, and perform related tasks.
- Work with Head Office and local networks to develop business and support clients.
- Maintain accurate client and credit documentation.
- Ensure compliance with KYC, KYB, and other legal requirements.
Skills for Success:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Experience in a major international bank, ideally in Natural Resources.
- Understanding of corporate financing and banking products.
- Knowledge of credit analysis and financial modeling.
- Ability to interpret loan agreements and financial documents.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Multitasking ability.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
