To be successful in this role our client has said it is essential that candidates:
- are fluent in Vietnamese
- have qualification in AAT level 3 or level 4
What You'll Be Doing:
- Independently manage bookkeeping regarding full tax and accounting cycles for small to medium sized businesses (revenues, expenses, receivables, payables, VAT, corporate tax, payroll, bank transactions reconciliation, tax filings, self-assessment etc), will be trained and supported by qualified accountants.
- Daily work status update and reporting to internal and external parties.
- Documentation of key internal processes and filings of documents.
- Maintain fluid communication with internal and external parties such as HMRC, banks, suppliers, customers and accountants regarding client’s finance and tax matters and manage tax compliance deadlines.
- Assist with personal tax planning and filing, will be trained and supported by experienced tax advisors and lawyers.
- Respect client confidentiality and sensitive personal and business information and report any issues which may affect client’s relationship with key external parties.
- May be required to visit certain clients on a weekly basis (London and surrounding areas, travel expense covered) and report to firm's office in central London on request. Otherwise work from home.
The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:
- At least 1 years’ experience in bookkeeping in the UK, AAT qualified or partially qualified will be advantageous.
- Experience or knowledge of accounting software such as Xero or Sage.
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to work towards multiple deadlines.
- Intermediate computer skills for Excel, Word.
- Willing to work in a multi-site environment (office, client site or remotely).
