Tax Manager – Japanese Expatriate Individual Tax (Hybrid)– What You\’ll be Doing:
- Provide comprehensive UK individual tax services to Japanese expatriate clients
- Prepare and review UK Self Assessment Tax Returns
- Advise on double taxation and foreign tax credit issues between Japan and the UK
- Liaise with clients in both English and Japanese
- Manage and develop junior staff
- Communicate with HMRC regarding tax queries and amendments
Tax Manager – Japanese Expatriate Individual Tax (Hybrid)– The Skills You\’ll Need to Succeed:
- Experience in a tax-related role at an accounting firm in Japan or the UK
- Knowledge of international individual tax (especially UK/Japan)
- Business level English and native-level (or equivalent) Japanese
- Team management experience is a plus
- Qualifications such as ATT, CTA, ACCA or ACA welcome but not essential
