What you’ll be doing each day:
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, this role supports the day-to-day operational activities of the Supply Chain team and provides exposure to a broad range of supply chain functions. The role combines core supply chain operations with analytical responsibilities that support forecasting, compliance and overall customer service performance.
Main Responsibilities
- Customer Service & Order Management
- Manage customer orders (major retailers, distributors & independents), ensuring accurate entry into our JD Edwards ERP system
- Monitor order status with 3PL partners and pro-actively resolve issues to maintain high service levels
- Support invoicing activities to ensure timely payment processing
- Resolve customer queries relating to shortages or late deliveries, ensuring credit or debit notes are issued where appropriate
- Support relationship management with key customers, building strong working relationships and liaise with customers when required
- Key point of contact for both customer and internal communications, with full ownership of shared mailboxes: responding to, allocating and escalating queries as required
- Logistics & Warehouse Coordination
- Liaise daily with third-party logistics providers to track deliveries, manage queries and maintain strong warehouse performance
- Assist with delivery bookings and pro-actively manage shortages and discrepancies, resolving issues in a timely and accurate manner
- Take ownership of bottle store inventory, including packaging, rework activity and associated stock controls
- Oversee wet-stock management within the samples warehouse, ensuring accurate handling, recording and traceability
- Data & Systems Management
- Maintain accurate customer, delivery and billing information within ERP system, ensuring all data is up to date and correctly recorded
- Ensure all data is clean, consistent and audit ready, supporting strong operational and financial controls
- Manage and maintain customer pricing within ERP systems, ensuring all pricing data is accurate, current and aligned with commercial agreements
- Track sample stock usage and maintain full traceability of all sample orders, ensuring visibility and accountability across the process
- Manage accurate packaging waste data collection and support wider compliance activities, ensuring all information is correctly maintained and submitted for regulatory reporting and internal requirements
- Cross Functional Collaboration
- Assist with gathering weekly sales, stock and promotional data for use in demand forecasts
- Collaborate with Sales teams to understand upcoming promotions, NPD launches and customer changes that may impact demand
- Identify recurring issues and flag them for planning analysis
