Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with credit risk policies and procedures.
- Enhance strategy, policies, and procedures of Credit Risk.
- Perform credit assessment and review of potential and current clients/counterparties.
- Present credit risk assessments and recommendations to the Credit Committee.
- Monitor client exposure against various limits and initiate risk mitigation actions.
- Maintain and update credit records/documentation of clients.
- Understand pertinent regulations and best practices in credit operations.
- Focus on market developments regarding portfolio credit risk measurement techniques.
- Consider global macro-economic environment and specific country factors in credit risk assessment.
- Embed group credit risk related policies and procedures into local processes.
- Support the Head of Risk for risk management activities.
- Perform annual risk policy reviews and attend credit committee meetings.
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned by management.
