Who You'll be working for: Highly successful design led business operating in the luxury hotel sector.
What You'll be Doing:
- Appoint and maintain collaborative but robust relations with 3PLs, couriers and Freight Forwarders
- Review current warehousing and logistics operations with particular focus on reduction of costs and improvement of service.
- Manage contractual terms with logistics service providers.
- Challenge all cost lines.
- Benchmark costs.
- Optimise all processes (systems and operational) with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Document, maintain and improve SOPs/ways of working.
- Ensure all 3PLs meet their KPIs & Service Levels; review at regular business meetings.
- Manage invoices. Challenge discrepancies and follow through on resolutions.
- Evolve & improve the pick & pack/QC/returns/repack processes.
- Reduce stock holding through consolidation and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to manage damages/overstocks/obsolete SKUs etc.
- Ensure stock accuracy; annual stock counts, cycle counting, monthly location audits, scanning barcodes.
- Full understanding of packaging types and possibilities and define requirements for existing and new SKUs.
- Regular and ad hoc reporting.
The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:
- Working experience managing Logistics service providers.
- An understanding of international logistics and technical requirements.
- IT skills including ERP, Excel, Outlook, AI tools desirable.
- High performance, results driven.
- Desire for continuous improvement.
- Able to demonstrate initiative and the ability to define, cost and deliver solutions.
- Ability and confidence to challenge intelligently.
- Proactive, hardworking, keen to learn.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

- Able to work cross functionally.
- Able to travel (EU) to 3PL if required.
