Working Days: Monday to Friday, Occasional Saturday work (approximately 12 times per month), with a day off in lieu. Sundays and Bank Holidays are always off.
Working Hours: 07:00 - 15:30 (1-hour lunch break)
Key Responsibilities:
- Work for a leading Japanese logistics company as a Relocation Site Team Leader, with the potential to progress into a management role.
- Carry out packing and preparation work for international relocations.
- Guide customers through customs-related documentation and procedures.
- Provide customers with information and support throughout the relocation process.
- Supervise, guide, and manage on-site moving staff.
- Monitor work progress and coordinate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle other general duties related to international relocation services.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Conversational level of English.
- Able to communicate effectively with customers and on-site staff.
- Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on, physically demanding work.
- Responsible, reliable, and able to take ownership of tasks.
- Able to lead and support a team and provide guidance to staff.
- Candidates without previous relocation experience will also be considered if they demonstrate strong potential and a willingness to learn.
Preferred / Desirable:
- A valid UK or Japanese driving licence (automatic licence acceptable) not essential.
- Previous experience in removals, relocation, or other on-site work.
- Experience in logistics, warehousing, delivery, or similar operational environments.
- Previous experience supervising or managing staff.
- A strong interest in developing a career in management.
