Responsibilities:
- Support projects related to the mid-term management plan, contributing to corporate value enhancement.
- Plan, coordinate, and drive transformation initiatives in Europe, including organizational development, business development, talent development, and talent utilization.
- Monitor and lead managerial issues across the European organization.
- Ensure project goals are achieved and aligned with objectives.
- Prepare project initiation documents, detailed plans, and progress reports.
- Coordinate effective meetings, follow up on decisions, and propose corrective actions as needed.
- Manage stakeholder communications and respond to change requests.
- Assist in preparing documentation for investment decisions.
- Support business development, M&A processes, and marketing activities as required.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, project management, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, consultancy, or project management in a multinational environment.
- Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work within budgets, analyse numerical data, and make cost-effective decisions.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive).
- Experience preparing reports and presentations for diverse audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Reliable team player committed to achieving objectives.
- Skilled at building strong relationships internally and externally.
- Available for several business trips per year (UK and international).
Desirable:
- Knowledge of the shipping or logistics industry.
- Experience in project management or corporate transformation projects.
- Strong presentation design and delivery skills.
- Japanese language skills are a plus (JLPT N2 level or above preferred).
