Responsibilities
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of routers, switches, Wi‑Fi devices, smart home products, and consumer electronics.
- Conduct system‑level and component‑level diagnostics, including PCB fault finding, power circuits, ports, firmware recovery, and hardware analysis.
- Handle complex, escalated, or high‑priority repair cases and provide technical solutions.
- Support, coach, and guide product testers and junior engineers on difficult technical issues.
- Develop and share technical knowledge, repair procedures, and best practices within our team.
- Learn, implement, and adapt new repair methods and technologies introduced by overseas HQ.
- Assist in planning and allocating daily repair workload to ensure efficient operations and achievement of performance targets.
- Monitor repair quality, identify recurring technical issues, and recommend process improvements.
- Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects to improve repair efficiency and reduce failure rates.
- Assist with training and onboarding of new team members.
- Maintain ESD standards and ensure compliance with UK health and safety and WEEE regulations.
