OEM Lubricant Sales Manager
The OEM Lubricant Sales Manager will join the OEM group within the organisation.
This role is vital in growing key automotive and industrial OEM accounts while identifying and developing new business opportunities to achieve sales and profit targets.
The OEM customer segment is a challenging market that requires strong commercial understanding and the ability to build long-term relationships to meet strict product quality and supply chain requirements.
This is an important role which requires strategic planning for long-term growth and strong collaboration with various internal stakeholders including supply chain, product development, manufacturing, quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve revenue and profit targets from lubricant sales of key OEM customer accounts.
- Create and maintain an overall sales and marketing strategy to achieve short-term and long-term goals by increasing market share.
- Develop productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve agreed targets.
Work within the OEM team to develop pricing mechanisms, contracts, and long-term agreements that drive profitability.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting agreed deadlines.
- Strengthen relationships with OEM customers to gain their trust and offer innovative solutions.
- Identify, develop, and grow business opportunities within existing accounts and new automotive OEM and industrial market segments.
Requirements
- Qualification in Business, Supply Chain or a related field.
- Experience within the OEM segment preferably in the Lubricants, Automotive or Industrial sectors.
- Previous relevant experience working in UK/ Europe in a sales/business development role.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills to finalise contracts and pricing formulas with customers.
- Strong strategic business skills, including sales forecasting and analysis.
- Commercially astute and customer focused.
- Motivated individual with a ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to resolve issues confidently while working with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
- Must have a full right to work in the UK.
