Location: RG8
Basic salary: £23,000 - £26,000 (DOE)
OTE: £45,000+
Working pattern: 5 day week
Senior Lettings/ Assistant Lettings Manager
Our client is seeking an ambitious and driven Senior Lettings Negotiator or Assistant Lettings Manager to support two of their offices within the RG8 area. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior negotiator looking to take their next step.
The successful candidate will play a key role in growing the office by winning new instructions, supporting and motivating the team, and ensuring exceptional customer service. They will also work closely with the Sales department to maximise cross-referral opportunities and generate new lettings business.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Lettings Negotiator or Lettings Assistant Manager
Business Development
- Win new lettings instructions through valuations and market appraisals.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective landlords.
- Generate new business through canvassing, networking, referrals and local market knowledge.
- Maximise opportunities to increase market share within the local area.
Team Leadership
- Support the Lettings Manager with the day-to-day operation of the office.
- Lead, motivate and coach the team in the Manager's absence.
- Ensure individual and office performance targets are achieved.
- Share best practice and help develop junior team members.
Essential Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years' experience in residential lettings
- Proven track record of winning instructions and generating new business
- Experience conducting lettings valuations
- Strong leadership skills with the confidence to manage the office in the Manager's absence
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
- Good understanding of current lettings legislation
