We are recruiting a passionate and confident Secondary Science Teacher to join a supportive all boys secondary school in M19, Manchester. This is a long-term temporary opportunity for a teacher who can deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 and support pupils to achieve strong outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Create a positive, well-managed learning environment
  • Differentiating learning to meet a range of abilities and needs
  • Assess, track and report on pupil progress in line with school policies
  • Work collaboratively with the Science department and wider staff team
  • Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times

Candidate Requirements (Essential):

  • QTS/QTLS (or equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification)
  • Recent experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

Desirable:

  • Experience working within an all boys school environment
  • Science specialism (Biology/Chemistry/Physics) to KS4
  • Ability to start immediately
