We are recruiting for Mini-mix Class 2 concrete drivers. Working Monday to Friday out of a busy depot in Shettleston, Glasgow. IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLE FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE.

Before applying for the below post, you will need the qualifications listed below:

  • Contract driver mandatory requirements - MPQC & SUD. An induction cannot go ahead without evidence of an MPQC; online courses are available. If the driver has an expired MPQC, an induction can be completed with a booking confirmation for a new course.

Tasks and duties will include:

  • Delivering, batching, and pouring concrete
  • Operating mixer
  • Loading mixer with loading shovel
  • Carrying out routine vehicle checks
  • Making sure that the load is correctly secured by use of an easy sheet
  • Issuing receipts
  • Customer service

To successfully secure this opportunity, you must:

  • Have held an HGV Class 2 licence for at least one year
  • Have a digital-tacho card and driver CPC
  • Be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
  • Have a great attitude and strong work ethic
  • Be capable and confident in your ability
  • Have a good geographical knowledge of our operating area

Salary: £33,000 plus bonus. 3 month Temp to Perm.
