We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil within a primary school in Bootle. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development and can build positive relationships with young learners.

The Role

  • Provide 1:1 support to a pupil throughout the school day.
  • Support learning and development in line with the EYFS and/or Year 1 curriculum.
  • Encourage engagement, confidence, and independence.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and wider school staff.
  • Use initiative to adapt activities and provide support based on the child's needs.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children is essential.
  • Good understanding of the EYFS and/or Year 1 curriculum.
  • Ability to use initiative and think proactively when supporting children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach.
