Are you reliable, hardworking, and enjoy working in a fast-paced food environment? We are looking for a Catering Assistant to join a friendly secondary school on the Wirral, supporting the day-to-day running of the school kitchen and helping provide nutritious meals to students and staff.
What you'll be doing:
- Assisting with the preparation and serving of food and drinks
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained at all times
- Washing up, cleaning kitchen equipment, and maintaining a tidy workspace
- Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Supporting with stock rotation and basic food preparation where required
What we're looking for:
- Someone available to work during school hours, Monday to Friday (term time)
- Experience in a kitchen or catering environment (desirable but not essential)
