People Dynamix Education are currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to provide temporary cover within a secondary school in the Wallasey area of Wirral. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging mathematics lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping students build confidence in numeracy and develop strong problem-solving skills. This role requires a teacher who can maintain high standards in the classroom and create a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons up to GCSE level
- Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management
- Support students in developing key mathematical skills and exam preparation
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback where required
- Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Mathematics in a UK secondary school
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
