Looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant role where you can make a real difference to one child?
People Dynamix Education is looking for a caring, patient and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work full-time, Monday to Friday, within a Primary School in North Liverpool.
This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for someone who understands that successful 1:1 support is about much more than simply sitting alongside a child.
It's about building trust, understanding individual needs, recognising when to offer support and when to encourage independence, and helping a child feel confident and successful within school.
The role
You’ll provide dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day, working closely with the class teacher and wider school team to support the child's learning, engagement, behaviour and wellbeing.
You’ll need to adapt your approach according to the child's individual needs while helping them become increasingly confident and independent within the classroom.
For the right person, this has the potential to develop into a long-term and potentially permanent opportunity.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children, ideally within a Primary or SEND setting
- Can commit to working full-time, Monday to Friday
- Can build a positive and trusting relationship with an individual child
- Is calm, patient and consistent
- Understands the importance of encouraging independence
- Can adapt activities and learning to meet individual needs
- Communicates effectively with teachers and other professionals
- Is reliable and committed to becoming part of the school team
Previous 1:1 or SEND experience would be particularly valuable.
What you’ll receive
£90-£100 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
