KS2 Teaching Assistant (Level 2 or above) - Bebington, Wirral

Full-Time | £450-600 per week | Long-Term

Are you a Qualified Level 2 (or above) Teaching Assistant looking for a full-time role where you can make a genuine difference?

People Dynamix Education is recruiting an experienced Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in Wirral.

This is a full-time, long-term opportunity, supporting individual children throughout the school day. Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar education-based role is essential, while experience supporting children with SEND is highly desirable.

The school is prepared to wait for the right person, but preferably someone could start as soon as possible.

The role

You’ll provide dedicated 1:1 support, working closely with the class teacher and wider school team to help the children access learning, develop independence and feel confident and successful within school.

Successful 1:1 support isn't about doing everything for a child. It's about getting to know them, understanding what helps them succeed and providing the right support at the right time.

We're therefore looking for someone who can build a strong, consistent relationship while maintaining appropriate expectations and encouraging independence.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a UK Primary School or a similar educational role




• Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (Higher or equivalent)




• Can commit to a full-time, long-term position




• Is calm, patient, reliable and consistent




• Builds positive relationships with children




• Can adapt their approach to meet individual needs




• Works effectively alongside teachers and other professionals




• Understands the importance of safeguarding and children's wellbeing




• Ideally has previous SEND and/or 1:1 experience

£450-£600 per week, depending on experience and qualifications.
