If you already teach wedding dance or are a qualified dance professional interested in supporting couples with their first dance, this could be the perfect fit.
This role offers flexible, short‑term work that fits easily around your existing teaching, performing or personal schedule. You’ll enjoy well‑paid lessons, short travel distances, and your wage is protected against last‑minute cancellations. We handle bookings, client communication, and lesson details, so you can focus on teaching. You’ll also have a dedicated contact at HQ for support whenever needed.
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification (or higher)
- Accreditation from a recognised dance organisation (e.g. ISTD, RAD, IDTA, NATD, CDMT‑affiliated, or equivalent)
- Public Liability Insurance for dance tuition
- Experience teaching adult beginners
- A patient, confidence‑building teaching style.
Our teachers come from a wide variety of dance careers – studio owners, freelance teachers, performers, parents, part‑time professionals and touring artists. If you love creating simple, elegant choreography and supporting couples at a special moment in their lives, we’d love to chat.
Wedding Day Dance UK only expect you to do what you best – teach dance! They take care of everything to do with organising and money. The only admin you need to do is send in your invoice, so they can pay you promptly.
