The Lisa Ullmann Travelling Scholarship Fund (LUTSF) is seeking additional Trustees, including a Chair. Established in 1987 in memory of dance pioneer Lisa Ullmann, our small charity supports individuals to travel and further their studies in dance and movement. We are committed to fostering creative and cultural exchange through international mobility.

Location and Compensation

UK-wide. This is an unpaid, voluntary role; any expenses incurred will be reimbursed.

Role Responsibilities

  • Attend two Board meetings per year in central London, with dates and locations set with considerable notice.
  • Engage in strategic discussions and decision‑making to support the Fund’s next phase.
  • Observe/shadow a Board meeting as part of the interview process.
  • Provide input on fundraising, marketing/communications, and donor engagement.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Vision, ambition, and influence to support the Fund’s growth.
  • Preferred experience or interest in marketing/communications and fundraising.
  • No prior Board Member role required; full induction, training, and support will be provided.
