Company Chameleon is looking for a dynamic Learning & Participation Manager (maternity cover) to lead our ambitious and inspiring engagement programme. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK\’s leading dance companies in a role that promotes and supports access to dance opportunities across diverse communities and settings.
As Company Chameleon’s work grows across the city, regionally, nationally and internationally, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and dynamic manager to lead this ambitious programme for the next 12 months. This role will manage the existing learning and participation programme and develop, expand and increase the impact and reach of our work.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the learning & participation programme, aligning it with the company’s strategic goals and artistic vision.
- Design and deliver meaningful opportunities across studio classes, youth dance programmes, education workshops and bespoke project work in secure settings.
- Oversee year-round activity that enables diverse groups of people to engage with the company and access high-quality dance experiences.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities to develop and expand engagement activities and their impact.
- Foster an inclusive, creative and collaborative approach to ensure high-quality delivery across all areas of work.

- Track record of success in learning & participation or related field.
- Forward-thinking, creative, and strategic thinker with strong commitment to excellence.
- Inclusive, collaborative, and able to work effectively with colleagues and external partners.
- Strong communication skills, good time management, and a flexible, team-oriented approach.
- Ability to work well under pressure within a fast-paced and growing organisation.
