This entry-level role is ideal for someone starting their HR career who enjoys helping people, supporting colleagues, and keeping HR processes running smoothly. As a People & Culture Administrator in our People & Culture department, you will contribute to creating an exceptional employee experience by supporting onboarding, HR administration, employee compliance checks, and general culture and wellbeing initiatives. Success requires not only strong organisational skills but also kindness and empathy, which help build trust, support colleagues, and nurture a positive workplace culture.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain precise and up-to-date employee records across People & Culture systems and trackers, ensuring information is always accurate and consistent.
- Coordinate the full new starter process, including offer letters, onboarding documentation, and Right to Work checks, with a meticulous eye for accuracy at every step.
- Liaise with IT, Security, and Payroll to ensure new starters are fully set up ahead of their start date.
- Prepare and issue contracts, promotion and salary letters, references, and other employee correspondence, ensuring every detail is correct before it reaches an employee.
- Support the administration of employee relations matters, including meeting coordination and confidential record-keeping.
- Manage the People & Culture inbox, responding to routine queries accurately and in a timely, professional manner.
- Oversee leaver administration, including system updates, exit interviews, and thorough final documentation checks.
- Support the planning and delivery of the annual employee engagement, recognition, and wellbeing calendar.
- Build positive, professional relationships with employees across the business.
- Contribute ideas to enhance the employee experience based on feedback and business needs.
