Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a casual Pool Lifeguard to join our Aquatics and Recreation team at our Derby Memorial Swimming Pool. If you are motivated, enthusiastic and positive then you are who we are looking for!

As a Lifeguard, you will supervise our patrons (including children) providing them with a safe and enjoyable experience. Duties cover pool supervision, life guarding duties, administering First Aid, maintaining cleanliness of buildings and grounds, assisting in scheduled pool activities, participation and supervision of school holiday programs and providing a positive customer service experience. Ad hoc hours will include weekends, public holidays and school holidays.

Essentials:

  • Pool Lifeguard certificate
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Working with children check

Casual Hourly Rate: $36.02 per hour includes a casual 25% loading plus Location Allowance if applicable of $5.56 per hour.

To be appointed to a permanent position, you must be an Australian citizen, or have permanent residency status, or a visa permitting you to work in Australia permanently. If you have a visa permitting you to work temporarily in Australia, you may be appointed to a temporary or casual position, providing the work complies with the conditions of your visa.
