We are seeking a motivated and customer focused Administration and Customer Service Officer to support Shire service delivery across Tourism, Library, Pool, Facilities and Administration. This is a varied, front facing role where you will be a key point of contact for the community while providing high quality administrative support. You’ll thrive if you enjoy variety, take pride in accuracy, and value delivering professional, friendly service every day.
About the Role:
You will play a key role in delivering quality administrative services, handling documents, supporting meetings, and assisting both staff and the public with courteous and efficient service. This position requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a dedication to continuous improvement in our administration processes.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Providing administrative support including document management and correspondence.
- Respond to enquiries and direct requests across a range of Shire services.
- Provide professional front of house and phone based customer service.
- Assisting with scheduling, travel arrangements, and event coordination.
- Maintaining accurate records in compliance with local government standards.
- Supporting the Shire's commitment to transparency, integrity, and community focused service.
